Force India's improved form helps him to ninth place at season opener in Melbourne. Achieves his best ever grid slot - second - in Italy and finishes the Monza race in a career-best fourth place, though it's his only point-scoring result of the year.
2008
Retained as Spyker becomes Force India, but struggles to overcome uncompetitive machinery. Season highlight is Monaco, where he is set to finish fourth until being taken out by Kimi Raikkonen.
2007
Debut Formula One season with Spyker. Impresses with speed and consistency in an uncompetitive car and is quickly hailed a star of the future. Tops Saturday's wet final practice session in Monaco and scores his - and Spyker's - first point in Japan.
2006
Wins Japanese Formula Three title. Tests for Spyker and makes three successful third-driver Grand Prix practice outings.

Enjoys two wins, two poles and 11 podium finishes while competing in Formula Three Euroseries, ending his second season as runner-up to Lewis Hamilton.
